I came out to the land today to watch the storms roll in. Hopefully we get enough rain to see if the water flows where I intended it to!

We only got 2 tenths of an inch and no hail.

No pictures of a tornado but did watch a little rotation above me before it started raining. I love watching these storms. All of the clouds were moving east and suddenly all of the clouds on the east side started moving northwest and all of them started to combine and slowly spin together. It fell apart after 10-15 minutes and all of it continued its march east.

I'm guessing we got 3 tenths but it came in just a few minutes with lots of pea sized hail. Very heavy rain.

I was glad to see that my drainage worked out just the way I expected. Most of the water from my hill was channeled to my pond instead of my neighbors ditch. It took a lot of dozer and box-blade work but was worth it.

Thanks guys! Our yard area will be about 2.5 acres, which is just around right for me.

Here are some pictures from a few weeks ago that I forgot to share. My father law and I dug into the hill and used the dirt to fill in a low spot near the woods where I didn't go with the dozer. I didn't want to tear up the rental!







I harrowed the house pad today. It looks much better!
