combination tedder/rake

Wow, buy one get one free....thats a good deal! In your travels have you ever seen a GRS 24?

During transport you lift the wheels completely off the ground? Can't it be transported on its wheels?

Yes,I have seen the GRS 24 a few times,not as often as the 25 though.

I guess you could transport it on it's wheels. Not really sure if I would for any distance or on gravel roads or pavement though.

Check this out. A combo machine is half good at tedding and half good at raking. The new Massey Ferguson line offers 2 machines that are priced right and provide a good job for both chores.

OK, I'm not seeing what you're seeing. I see rakes and tedders but not combination machines. Could you pls give the full URL? thanx

Reread MFMan's post. I think what he's saying is that MF provides two separate machines that do a better job than the combined machine, AND that the two MF implements cost about the same combined. IOW, get both a Tedder and a Rake for the same price.

I realize this is an OLD thread but it came up when I googled Kuhn GRS 24. I may have a lead on one of these; curious what it's worth. I'd really rather just have a regular one rotor rake (I think?) but I've never seen one in this part of the country. Virtually everyone uses either a common rolobar or these big V type wheel rakes; I just have a small acreage so speed is of no consequence but the Rotary rakes just look to rake so clean compared to my old rolobar in the videos I've seen.

Any input appreciated.
