Compact telehandler

Here is one that I moved last month. Had pushed it over earlier and got most of the red dirt of off the root ball:

It has a big enough root ball that the narrow single lid Gorilla Grapple will pick it up without adding chains, like the previous project posted here, needed:

Backed it out in the open to get a picture with the setting sun shining on it:

Took it to the burn pile and dropped it:

The V417 is listed by Bobcat as Operating Weight - 10648 pounds.

Her Toolcat shows 5835 pounds in the specs.

I always check the wind forecast first: WindAlert

This morning would have been a good day to burn:

How did you get to that wind graph on that site? Are you a paid subscriber? I go there as a 'guest' and get a map view with wind reports from a few local weather stations but nothing similar to your hourly chart.

Thanks,
Rob

I clicked the link now to get some screenshots. Typed in my zip code, then clicked on the Weather Station closest to me, this came up:

Then clicked "Forecast", (at the added red arrow) and got this:

Won't burn today!

Put your cursor on the blue box and drag it to see the coming days:

Hard to fathom that the Toolcat weighs in at almost 6000 pounds. It just doesn't look that big. Where is all the mass? Doesn's look like it has a big counterweight like your telehandler.

Guess it has more metal than most economy tractors

Yep, the weight comes from lots of steel. Here is a screenshot of the Toolcat frame from a brochure:

The cab and doors are well made. No counter weight built in like the Versahandler has.
