Computer & CD buring

Is there Audio Out from the satellite box? Is it stereo? One end of the cable from Radio Shack has 2 RCA plugs (left and right channels) while the other end is a single stereo mini plug. Plus that into the sound card and Windows Media Player should be able to use the sound card as Input.

Most of the satelite recievers have multiple audio L/R outputs.

Not to hijack thread, but I'm looking to put a bunch of music on a DVD and not a CD. This way, I can have a larger selection with me when I'm outside working/cutting fields with my "ears" on.

On a trial run, I've created "wma" files as I recall, verses MP3. I've copied 72 complete cd's of wma files onto a single DVD /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

now the next part of the experiment arises... similar to a portable CD player that fits in pocket, can you buy a portable DVD player, that will play wma files (or mp3 if I must redo all), that does NOT have a viewing screen? The sole purpose would be to stuff into pocket, so size is more imporant than viewing.

I've done some cursory searching and thus far, can only find a dvd player with screen.
