MarkV, I feel like I've dominated gardening threads so much that people are bored with my garden photos. Even so, my garden this year is doing well and maybe I need to put in a few photos of the garden in production.

Surely you jest Jim! I'd be surprised if I am the only one on the forum that is trying to get garden results as good as you two do. I learn a bit each time you post your gardening steps. Personally I hope you will keep a tread going so I don't have to PM you each week. ;);)

Thanks once more to everyone for the congrats. You guys have convinced me to take some pictures of my garden.:D I'll take a few and post a link to the thread where I post them.

Link to garden photos.

Ray, on those heirloom seeds you sent to me. . . what do the tomatoes look like? The first year after you sent me the seeds, I didn't have a garden because I was moving its location. The second year, we had a garden and planted some of your seeds for tomato sets, but we did it late and they did not do well in the late summer heat, only making small tomatoes that didn't mature. This year, I planted early and got sets in peat planters. I was so proud of my plants and put them out in little shelf-like hothouses I ordered from Amazon.com. I was really proud of myself because I made a matrix map of the plant starters for reference. Well, we had a windstorm and the shelves blew over. All the peat plugs fell out and got scrambled. I couldn't figure out what tomato was what. :confused3: Now, I have some huge sweet tomatoes that I don't know what they are. They have a point on the bottom and are 4" to 5" long and about 3" diameter. They are dry with few seeds, but very mild and sweet. I'm wondering if that is the heirloom tomato you sent to me? I'll take some photos and post them for you.

Hey I'm late to the party....Congrat's Jim!:D

It is a pleasure reading your posts and knowing you. Thanks for your contribution to the board. My favorite was your pond cleaning/clearing thread. Talk about putting your NH to the test. That was the "Little engine that could".

Tell your wifey hello from us in Giddings.
