Well.....I was hoping I could communicate back by now that I had ordered the HTL c/w hoses & QD's. Unfortunately, CCM will not ship to Canada. :(
They will ship to a US border address & then I have to pick it up. That's probably what I will end up doing. I did check out a few other companies that supply HTL's but they just don't have the same info or the same selection.

Surplus Center ships to Canada don't they? They have the same HTL as CCM now.

Look HERE.

I just got a hydraulic top link for my john deere and I got it from Dalton Bearing and Hydraulic out of Tennesse. Its a cat 2 toplink made by Prince with a 3in bore and 10in stroke. It is a super heavy top link, I got it yesterday and had a couple hoses made and put it on then I had to try it out. It works great. They also have a cat 1 top link available as wellthats cheaper than the ccm you all are talking about, just thought I would let you know. Later...... Bullsram

There are several hydraulic top links out now, with and without the check valve. You just have to look. CCM is not the only supplier of top links with the check valve.

I purchased my toplink from CCM with check valve a few years back. I use it ALL the time on the box blade- couldn't live without it! It's been working perfectly without any trouble. Two thumbs up for CCM!

Kozak, please keep us informed... My local K dealer is going to install everything for me; they say they make the Hydraulic unit "in house". A bit far from you, however, Ben Berg in Wainfleet.

H e l l o MacHold in Niagara Area,

Checked out the Ben Berg Equipment Web Site tonight. Will call them tomorrow morning & see how long & how much for a HTL. Much easier if I can deal with somebody in Ontario.

Thanks for the Source,

Vic

Well, it was a little disconcerting at first but all's well that ends well. Ended up getting the cylinder from Ben Berg Equipment in Wainfleet Ontario. Actually, my hat's off to this Dealership. They came through when things did'nt quite work out the first time. For anybody in Eastern or Central Canada, contact Dave in Service at Ben Berg & he will take good care of you. (1-905-899-3405)

Have worked the cylinder with the forks on the back (approx 400 Lbs) & cylinder moves smoothly. No leaks. Had restrictors put in. (This is a must, otherwise speed is far too quick) Now for the REAL test once it stops raining up here. Still have some heavy landscaping rock to move.

Here's a pic of the final installation. Does not look as good as others I have seen but then most of those had the lock-up valve which then provided connections vertically up & close together in the same orientation which gave a neater appearance. With my set-up, probably would have been better to have slightly smaller hose lengths. But I'm not complaining, better too long than too short & the thing works marvelous.....:D:D:);)

Thought I would add a pic of the Beast just for good measure !!

Hey MacHold, did you ever get your hydraulic cylinder(s) installed ??

Ariva-Derchie,

Vic

A couple zip ties to hold the hoses together would make it look very clean...
