How can a check go through and then not go through? Confused.

Oh, and she knows better, too. When we met we both worked for a large bank. She just got swept up in it. Usually wait 10 days.

If I was in charge of life, once a bank pays a check, any losses would stay with that bank. It would encourage them to vet their process better. Going back later to say 'nevermind' is much worse than having to wait 10 days for funds.
