I still have a few pieces of siding to install on the second story. Getting them up there has been rather tricky until I realized I had a better way.

After awhile, it gets just too darn hot to function on the roof. My brain isn't able to function!!! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Luckily I have things to do inside in the shade.

Here I am measureing the location for a light in one of the upstairs bedrooms.

Here's Steph pulling wire for the family room ceiling fan.

When I told her we'd be roughing in the electric, she had some reservations. She grew up without ever knowing the joys of building or do it yourself projects, so this is all new to her.

Once I explain how it works and what we need to do, she was able to run all the wire on her own.

She just keeps impressing me. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Here's sixteen doors. Upstairs I'm using luan and downstairs the raised panals. Gotta save a buck when I can. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

There are still more doors comeing along with the windows and other materials. Hopefully in a few days they will get here.

Here's some more goodies. The ductwork is being installed as I type this.

On a side note, the guy who delivered the ductwork told me his family owns a local candy manufacturing business. It's always interesting who you meet and what they have to offer. This business has been wholesaling candy for the last 60 years to country stores and other business's. He said that RV Parks are big customers of theirs and to come on by to visit their plant.

Sounds like fun!!!

Larry, Eddie says he's telling Steph how to do it, but we haven't asked her. I thought maybe she might be the one telling him how to do it. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

She's a sly one, running the project in the quise of a helpless woman. " Oh Eddie, show me how to hold the hammer again" /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Eddie-

In the photos, you are sweating like a pig while your girlfriend looks cool as a cucumber! I hope you have a temperary fridge within arms reach while you are working. Fluids are great, but cold fluids really help to lower your body temp (as if temperature woosie Bonehead needs to lecture a Texan on how to keep cool!).

Keep cool,

Bonehead
