This little fellow hitched a ride while I was picking the beans in the corn.

While I was out cutting hay this afternoon, I noticed a lot if honeybees around a small oak in my yard. They were still there when I finished. I managed to catch them and put them in an extra hive I had. Maybe I'll get some fresh honey from them this fall!

I caught my first swarm this year. Had another get away. Do you have other hives than this one?

Yes, four others. Just a fun and beneficial hobby.

We have four others as well! And yes we find it to be a fun hobby too.
And profitable? paying almost 10 bucks for local honey (I think its a 12 oz jar?) here in central Mass. I'm a believer that locallyproduced honey helps you with allergies:)

We have a wild bee tree. I don't take the honey from them, but they still work on the Larro Ranchero. They were working the banana cantaloupes a couple of days ago when I took the picture.

Has any one come up with a picture of Bigfoot yet ? Lots of money to be made for the person that has the elusive animal on film (or card).
Sorry but I couldn't resist as there are so many pictures posted.

bear 2.jpg This guy was wandering in the back yard til my big dod treed him. As soon as we put the dogs in the house he climbed down and ran like the hounds of **** were after him.
dragon fly.jpg These guys are good. They eat lots of mosquitoes.
