What I find frustrating is that when I was truck shopping 5 years ago Toyotas in my preferred price range were sky high even with 200K miles, because they had new frames; so I bought a low mileage Ranger instead. Fast forward 5 years, I got my Ranger set up the way that I wanted it (except it doesn't have the front winch) and it's still relatively low mileage but the frame is soft. So I just bought a nice Colorado which I like, but it's a fluff truck which will stay on the highway... whereas I could take my Ranger out through the woods and not worry about scratching it, getting stuck, or ripping the stupid plastic spoiler and mud flaps off.
