Daylight Savings Time---yes or no?

They tried going to DST year round up here back in the 1973 energy crisis. A lot of parents didn't like their kids walking to school or the bus stop in the dark. I don't understand what the time change is supposed to accomplish... I have to work when it's light out so it doesn't matter what the clock shows.

We need to stay on Standard time. There are already to many areas that don't change to DST. Also would confuse anyone who would travel overseas with a greater time difference. The song and dance they sold us about doing the change is a bunch of @$#*! Either way affects areas differently. Just need consistency!

It's a dang goverment thing so I ignore it. Sundial in de yard is right all day long.

Whole standard time thing got started by railroads and we know how honest dey are. Railroads usta stay on Railroad time all year and ignore goverment saving time.

Maybe it was one of dem lets see how many we can get runnin around behind masks experiments in earlier time.

I don't care. My daily life is not controlled by a clock.

I'm fine with it. Without DST/non DST changes in the winter it'd be dark until well into the morning or in the middle of the afternoon. Either one would inconvenience many people, including me.

Yes, just so long as all states do it consistently. I don't want drive to an adjacent state and arrive at a time before I left :D

I used to do that all the time,
lived outside of Seminole, Tx drive over to Hobbs, NM and all of a sudden you were there before you left :cool2:

DST is the only way ever devised to get the slugabeds up and to work an hour earlier.
