Deere 110 with BB1284 box blade, not working properly?

That 110 should travel at 15MPH . 10 miles, about 40 minutes, SMV sign about $10, new trailer to haul tractor to dealer $1000s.

I very well could have, but whenever I got home early enough to have time to ride it up there, there wasn't another person to give me a rid home. I like the JD dealer, just not that much

I do need a trailer anyway. I'll be lugging it up to my cabin and back a couple times a year and as well to some friends places. So it won't just be used for taking to the dealership.

Martian, I was really just giving you a hard time. I'm a believer in "if you need it more than once, then you need to own it". Not always true and I have A LOT of stuff that I have only used 2-3 times, but I have it none the less. I also am a person that does not like relying on others and do not like to ask for help very often.

I hope that you can find a trailer at a reasonable price, I know that around here that is an oxymoron.

I'm with you. A trailer is one of those things you hate spending money on, but don't have much choice. I see a lot of stuff I'd rather spend a couple grand on. But that stuff doesn't matter if I can't get it where I need it.

In other news, I moved the backhoe with the 110 at the dealer. Talk about scary. Put a movers dolly under the bh bucket and lifted the thing with the 5410. I just kept waiting for that thing to flop on its side. I put it right in the way of the truck and trailer without thinking and needed to get it out. That consumed quite a bit of the morning.

With the thumb, stabilizer protectors, and the larger hoe bucket - I'd bet it was just over 2,000lbs!!

That's not the kind of load you want that sticks up in the air 9 feet, either.

Wasn't something I'd want to do twice!!:laughing:

I didn't have a power beyond (the 3120 is actually sold to the neighbor!, but it didn't have the PB anyways), but what I found is if you push to lower the stabilizers you have to push the stabilizers as well until they release. Some sort of pressure lock to hold it up, but once I got it out of there it was good to go. Thanks for the help!

A message back from the dealer: "I was using it wrong"

I'm still not sure what this means, and we didn't go to in depth, but he said it could be confusing and he got it working. I don't want to doubt him, but I do. I breezed through the manual, and I think I'm doing everything right. Push the button by the seat so it's 'on', then the button on the joystick converts from front to back and controls the different functions - anything I'm missing? I'll be quite embarrassed to have made such a big deal out of this it ends up being my fault I will know for sure tomorrow, they are closed as of now, but I'll stop up and check it out and he was going to show me how to use it 'right'

:laughing: I was thinking the same thing. It's not like it's to complicated, and actually more straight forward. You push 2 buttons and you should be good to go. I guess if it is my fault it would be the cheapest possible repair, though they say you can't fix stupidity

I had a boss that aways wanted things "fixed" that worked fine for me. So it became my standard answer ( you weren't doing it right) when asked how I was able to get something running, even if I had to actually fix it.

Did you send it with the box blade, so they can show "how to use it correctly"?
