Or just get a good condition mechanical injection tractor, with no BS emissions and computer systems to fail.
I hear you. But that is hard to do when everyone else is doing the same thing. It is a coin toss. Do you spend the time fixing the used stuff or buy newer and hope you get a few years of blissful trouble-free service. Either way you're fixing something. We bought the B3350 for the cab and horsepower. And I am pretty sure I can get it.

It's not even the money that comes out in the wash. It is the loading it up and getting it to the dealer. They would come out or come and get it, but then that takes longer and you're without the machine. So, with a little planning ahead we are usually faster than they are. Then it comes down to time and you hope you have it when it breaks.

Alrighty, searched on the interweb. Looks like the Diagdiagnostics is Kubota's OEM software? If that is true, Then my guess is the version I am going to get isn't going to do much. Then what are the chances of the other software(s) doing the same thing. A glorified reader that gets them around the, "we sell are software so you can repair your stuff issue.". But all it is is a glorified code reader.

My favorite right now is the ford rotunda software. Pricey pay as you go, works well and if you jump through the hoops you can do just about anything. When GM got rid of the Tech II I gave up, so i can't compare to them or Chrysler for that matter.

I am leaning towards an easier way to load the tractor on the trailer. I want one of those PJ power tails and a hydraulic winch. I know what i want now i just have to find someone to fabricate it. Can't do it anymore or at least not that much.

Then its a matter of what protocol there on so one can figure out the interface. They are real proud of there's. Its a hobby, keeps me out of trouble. For the most part if i can get things figured out i can find someone to come out and do the physical labor. But my kids are getting tired of it....:)

This whole electric car push is a debacle. All it does is push the rape and pillaging to another natural resource. And in the case of electric cars and increased electrical appliances/utilities, many are rare earth minerals that are energy intensive to mine, extract, recycle or reclaim. Never mind the push for "one size for all". I'd have no problem with an electric or hybrid for my wife, but it would never work for me and what I do.
I’m not in the market for a new vehicle, but those vehicles they are advertising that have both an electric and gas engines are interesting.

I agree. From my understanding with hybrids, they come in 4 types. Here's a good explanation of them. Different types of hybrids

My wife has been looking at a Toyota Venza or Highlander hybrid.

Keep in mind that if you do any 'delete' on any EPA compliant tractor, it's yours forever, you cannot trade it in as no dealer will accept a deleted unit on trade so if you do, plan on keeping it forever. You could sell it via private sale but that won't relieve you of any liability should the subsequent owner decide to trade it in.. They will come right back on you for selling under false pretenses.

Simple answer is buy a used in good condition, pre 4 unit.

Yea for sure nobody would want a decent running newer tractor 🤣🤯

I don't know of anyone that has had that happen on a car or truck. Let alone a tractor. I am sorry a dealer will take anything in trade. You may loose the money to bring it back to stock in it's value, but they'll take it in trade. That is only if they can figure out it has been deleted. Most automotive vehicles that are traded into the dealer that are older go to auction where no one cares. And i am sure they keep real good records of all the previous owners on a tractor, because all i know is it was that way when i bought it. :) Now, I am sure there is someone that knows somebody the knows somebody who's brother in law knows somebody that has had that happen. And i am sure if you do an internet search on Al Gore's interweb it is happening everyday. I'll worry about it when someone i know has had it happen.

As for solving the problem, we have to stop electing mourns.

Selling under false pretenses. You mean like the tractor runs like it is supposed too.

The last vehicle i turned into a dealer had the cat deleted and I'm not in jail.

It's morons btw and I agree 100% Of course I have no issues with deleting anything because all my tractors as well as my pickup truck are / is pre 4 mandate. One less worry for me.

Most dealers won’t take tractors with altered ROPs or emissions in trade. Because it’s illegal for them to resell them. I’m sure that some independent dealers would, but not most brand dealerships. They also won’t work on a engine with altered emissions.

Good delete kits are plug and play, meaning that you just plug in a jumper harness and remove DPF, EGR ETC. Then run the download. When you want to put it back to stock just delete program and reinstall original equipment. Google GPT Consulting it has a full expiation of how it works. I myself would have no problem buying a machine that was deleted correctly. 🍻
