It seems the KOCH petroleum coke storage facility in Chicago gets that byproduct from the BP refinery. They have to clean the mess up or close it. I wonder if the high fuel prices are there to pay for the clean up?

I doubt it. That was back in February. The refinery broke. It can't produce enough gasoline, that's why the prices have risen in the midwest.

I took a trip to Pittsburgh a couple weeks ago.... what's the price when you get to PA? I was kinda shocked how much it went up as soon as I crossed the border into PA. So I waited until I returned to OH to fill my Suburban.

Still $2.89 southern Michigan...Sucks were headed out on vacation for two weeks out west..

The news recently reported that there was more oil held in reserve than expected, might account for price drop again.
