Tractor
Kubota B2910 w/FEL, Ford 8N, Bush Hog, rototiller, Woods 7 ft. Blade
Well, today I ordered a B2910 w/6o inch mid-mount mower, FEL and a 6 ft. Woods Rear Blade. An especial thanks to Bird for convincing me to throw out the $25 wheelbarrow and $15 shovel to save my wife's poor back and spring for the $3,000 FEL. I don't know who is more excited me or my 9 year old son who is already putting together a list of projects that "WE" can work on. I get delivery next week. Thanks to all those who post at this site for all the input, advise and entertainment. Keep writing!

Congratulations, dwarren. I'm sure, like most of us, you'll not only enjoy the projects you already have in mind, but you'll find a lot of other uses for the tractor that you haven't even thought of yet as well.

Way to go dwarren! Sounds like a great tractor that will do more work than you can think of. Heck, who am I kidding, you are going to have all kinds of fun./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Congratulations.

You will find more uses for the loader than the mower. It is a purchase that you will never regret. Now we only see snow on television here in Texas, so just have to visualize what it is like to plow snow. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I'm thinking about dragging my B2710 to Colorado behind my Suburban in December when we go skiing. We don't own anything up there (just rent), but figure we could find some snow to move with the loader. Just to see what its like. Like wen says, we don't get much here in Texas. Snow that is.

We haven't had much snow up here in Vermont the past couple of winters but it's only a matter of time. By the way, when I say not much snow I'm talking a winter of 80 inches or less and two or less storms of a foot or more. Now I know to some of you folks that's a lot but up here that's not much more than a dusting. By the way, my accountant says the B2910 is a tool not a toy.

dwarren,

Congratulations!!! As you probably know Jay Peak Ski Area claims they get on an average 300" (cumulative) snow fall. They have been pretty close in the past few years. In the valley it has been average. Last year was average but very short. I'm sure that the new tractor can handle anything mother nature brings. Might have to plug it in at -30F. Was mowing my lawm tonight and had to put on pants and a sweatshirt. Had a stiff northeast wind. Well I guess it's just around the corner. Best of luck!!

I just bought my very 1st tractor, B7500. Never owned such a thing before. I now wonder how on earth I ever survived without one.

Congrats on your new 2910.
