The jury is out on wether a vaccinated person can or cannot spread the virus.

1. Hand sanitizer
2. Masks
3. Wipe down of surfaces.

As long as these 3 work than it proves the virus can be passed airborne or touch. Being vaccinated is for your protection.

Exactly, that is why you get the vaccine for yourself and only for yourself. You have to consider the odds of a possible future vaccine ailment or contracting the horrible vascular disease -covid in which long term affect are still being studied. I chose to be the experimental monkey and take the vaccine. I just like those odds better.

I'll agree with you on that and its worth a discussion.

Most folks would think if a person does not have COVID, they can't spread COVID.

If I'm vaccinated, I shouldn't catch COVID.

However, the vaccination studies showed that while the vaccination prevents most people from getting COVID, some vaccinated people still catch COVID after being vaccinated, but they had such mild cases that they did not need hospitalization, and/or they were asymptomatic.

That means that some people that got vaccinated still caught COVID.

If they caught COVID, and were symptomatic or asymptomatic, they could certainly spread COVID.

Yes, but its likely vaccinated people are must less contagions or not at all. Time will tell which.

Not according to the CDC. They have no idea on contagion spread with fully vaccinated people.

One more thing.

The quicker more people get vaccinated, the lower the chances of people catching COVID.

The fewer people that catch COVID, the fewer hosts the virus has to mutate in.

That's another reason to do it for others. It'll help them and it'll help you in the long run if we can, as a group, limit the number of mutations.

It's too early for any assumptions at this point . . . but my guess was to get the vaccine.

COVID Vaccine Testing and Approval

Many people are astonished by the unprecedented speed of COVID vaccine testing.
The vaccine development process — for COVID and any vaccine —involves many layers of study, testing and review. According to The College of Physicians of Philadelphia, vaccines usually take an average of 10-15 years to create.
And yet, the COVID vaccines were developed in less than a year.
The vaccines for the novel coronavirus went through the same layers of review and testing as other vaccines. Due to the dire nature of the pandemic, certain barriers to development, related to funding and manufacturing, were removed.
To understand how this is possible, it is important to know how the vaccine development process typically works and how the COVID vaccine was created.
Bill Gates dumped what, $240 million into funding 8 different vaccine production lines before anybody knew which ones would be successful. He knew that if everyone sat on their thumbs waiting for one that worked, we would still be waiting a year later. The US is swimming in vaccines now. My local county health ran a drive-through mass vaccination yesterday, and spent a whole week advertising availability of time slots. Average on-site check-in time was 90 seconds. They were using the Pfizer vaccine, so first timers will have to check back next month for their second shot.

Last month I watched a Zoom presentation by the professor who won a Nobel Prize for CRISPR. He said he has grad students who could design a mRNA vaccine in a week. People have no idea how fast biotech is progressing.
