I'd also considered putting a tank on a skid; putting that into my truck and driving down to the local station for a fill, then unloading it back on the property once it's full. ----------------------------------------------

This was my 100 gallon saddle tank on a skid:

I got this 100 gallon tank at tractor supply and made a cart. The tractor forks can grab it from the sides or ends. I bolted it to the cart and added a fill-rite 12 volt pump. I can strap it in my truck or on my trailer to go and fill it. I do not want to store fuel for too long so this size works great for now.
