( Nope, I'll stick with a noisy 12 valve Cummins (either VE or P7100) over any of the new super-quiet, grocery getter, mom's taxi, aluminum headed, computerized junk they are trying to pass off as a truck motor
Wow, kind of a dogmatic, arrogant and pompous attitude we seem to have picked up in this thread. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif )
You Dodge boys sure are defensive. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif Whats up with that? Its just a truck. You did not manufacture it yourself so why dog out the other brands? (Cause its fun, right?) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Me, I buy from whoever I believe has the best value at the time I purchase it. If there's a problem with it, I admit it. No skin off my arse, I didn't build it. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
My old 92' Chevy gasser has 284,000 miles on it. Put a new engine in it at 185,000, but it still has the original transmission. I plan to keep it about 5 more years at which time I will buy a Ford, Dodge or Chevy, whichever presents the best value at the time. I have zero automotive dealer loalty.
Friday, I will load the family in Mom's taxi with the leather seats, DVD, CD six speaker killer entertainment system, Perelli tires, 6.0 quiet fuel efficient computerized engine and head to Sanibel Island for a two week vacation while you fellas fight the Ford/DodgeChevy war. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
If Dodge made an SUV this nice with a Cummins I might be driving it to Sanibel.
Well, I gotta run get a couple hours of seat time 'fore dark. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
