Difference Between CK, DK, and NX line ?

Sit in a tractor before even considering it. One of my friends has a Mahindra 1538 and swore by it. I was convinced it was also the tractor for me. Finally made it to the dealer to get a price and do a walk a round, etc. I am only 5-10 and could barely get in the seat with almost no room to lift my legs to use the pedals. From then on my policy was to sit in a tractor before even asking for a price.

The NX was the most comfortable of them all and compared to Kubota L series and the Branson

The older DK痴 (40)were a fully loaded tractor, mine is a 2014. Besides being a tier 3 vs tier 4 engine it is much closer relative to the nx series versus the newer DK痴.

That's what makes it confusing IMO.
The older DK's were the fully featured models.
Now it is the NX and the new DK's are the basic models.

Yes, I previously owned a DK40SE HST and I was surprised at how much of a base or "stripper" model the DK5010 turned out to be. The bones are good but the feature list is short. Yes, I did review the brochure/website and talk with the dealer first, there are only so many things you can think of to ask about! There are also many details of construction that would never make it into a brochure but are major differences once you spend hours (more than just a test-drive) with a machine.

Kioti, stay with model-naming conventions long term like Kubota and others do. Confusing people is not helpful and isn't good for your long-term sales and market position.

One minor thing to consider is how much the cab features take away in performance. My dealer was the one who brought it up to me, and said that going 5 more hp wasn't a big difference in price, basically the same tractor, and if the AC is running on High with blowers going full, the extra 5 hp might come in handy. like my truck going up the mountain with the ac going full bore and putting the hammer down to pass someone, there is a difference with the AC on and off. you really notice the difference in a four cylinder.

just something else to consider when making your decision.

I agree, when I got rid of my dkse I was shocked to see what doesn't come in a Kioti anymore. For all of us who own or have owned an "older" Kioti, guess we got in while the "gettin was good".

I couldn't imagine owning any tractor without telescopic arms and stabilizers... then again I have quite a few implements that I change out regularly.

If the power draw of a modern a/c unit makes or breaks completing a job, you probably bought the wrong tractor.

Also, there is an off button on the a/c control, if you’re cutting it that close on power.

Except to be fair that's not really what he said. His point was to consider how the features of a cab can affect the performance a buyer might be expecting from the rated hp. A/C can indeed reduce delivered power by as much a 5 hp in these CUTs , so good for his dealer for pointing that out. Too, shutting off the A/C on a hot day is not really an option in a cab tractor, even if you have side windows and a rear window to open. :)
