Yeah, its looks like you're getting more freezing drizzle than we are here. It's a good day to be inside with the wood burning stove going!

the newer Kubotas call there system a 1/4 inching valve and have 2 qates on the 3ph control a shorter and a longer one by just giving a quick bump in the shorter gate your implement should raise or lower about a 1/4". I use the same method on my old b8200, back up to where i want to start and lower the box to touch the ground then move the lever from center (neutral) and just move it quickly into and out of where it starts to engage the hydros If you need more cut give it 2 cycles (bumps) if your too deep stop and give it a quick bump up.
Harder to explain than to do,sorry

After a few hours, you can learn how to move the lever in small increments just as John describes. That's how I do it, took a while to master but it's doable.

My Kubota B7100 is a 1994 model which was used very little and traded in for a larger one at Zimmerer Kubota in Ft. worth TX. Love the tractor but just haven't completely become familiar with the box blade and I need to put in a drive way to our new house. The tractor has a rod with adjustments for implement lifting and lowering limits and has an adjustment bolt with lock nut that adjust the implement lowering speed. I don't think that bolt will adjust the implement lifting speed
Thanks for the advice you gave me. When the weather improves I will get the gravel hauled in and give all the advice a try..

Top link adjustment makes a huge amount of difference. Hard to believe but 1/4 turn can make the difference between pile of gravel at the end of pull or smooth transition. Keep tilting it back as wanted grade gets closer. I have position control on my tractor and it helps to rough it in, last final pass is controlled by top link.
Good Luck

Thanks "redneck. I am eager for the weather to clear so I can begin working. Longing for spring and summer around here.
