I'm no help here... I splurged on a BXpanded dolly specifically made for my BH. I wasn't sure how precise the height needed to be. I am happy with it because I can remove/install it in a couple minutes. Knowing what I know now, I would have saved money on a DIY welded square tube frame. :ashamed:

I know this is late, but here's my version of a Kubota BH92 backhoe dolly. Not for everyone, but I designed it into 2 pieces for compact storage. I've used two ratchet straps. One for the outriggers and another that forces the boom against the backhoe mainframe via a notch on the backside of the boom keeper. Once in place it is very stable and moves easily. I chose to catch the dolly at the pins of the backhoe frame where it is the widest point of the backhoe. Do not attempt to design this unless you fully understand this.
