I like Iplayfarmer's idea.
You could mount a cheap hand winch on the tongue. Also mount a latch from premature dumping? Put a ball hitch and you use it beside your 3 point tractor.

How about this one? If your primary use is leaves the design should be plenty strong. Goes along the same idea that was posted before.

Another option instead of a dump trailer is to make a mini version of the pickup cargo unloader (you know the thing that has a crank at the tailgate and rolls a tarp sheet and the load of stuff out of the pickup bed). Make a roller at the trailer front and one at the back and a small slot at the bottom front so the sheet (a piece of rubber conveyor belting or whatever you can find) can pass around in a continuous loop. You will probably need to modify the box attachment at the axle bracket to allow the belt to pass through but that could be something like a big "U" bracket where the belt passes through the middle.
