DK50SE vs NX5510 vs NX6010 All are HST with Cab, Thoughts?

If your heart is set on a dk50 cab there are not a lot to be had. It took me quite a bit of searching to find one at a price I was willing to pay.

Can I ask what you paid ?
Do you think your tractor would operate a. 7' tiller in heavy grass?

I paid $35,000 cab fel and backhoe, I do not have any experience with a tiller, but so far it has more than enough power for my needs.

If it was me I'd mow that heavy grass as short as possible before running a tiller through it. The DK50SE HST has just shy of 40 PTO horsepower, so it would depend on what the tiller was rated for. My guess is you'd probably fare better with a 6' tiller.

I paid $29,750 for my DK50SE HST cab with FEL, a second rear remote, engine heater, and delivered to my farm free.

Eric, do you know what both the front and rear axle weight capacities are for your NX6010? Also what type of final drive does it have?

I have not seen or found and loading specs in the service manual. The final drive on the rear is a spur gear set up (also called a bull gear) which is what everybody in the class uses with the exception of John Deere, who uses a planetary final drive on their 4066R.

It has been a year since I looked and I had HST machines in mind. Anyway, I had the MF1758 in mind, but I think you're right, the gear MF1759 has a planetary.

Where's TSO? I bet he'd know off the top without looking.

I've got a nx5510 2015 got it 12/5/14 $33000 with two set of remotes front and rear wiper and radio!! Plus I'm tax exempt as a farmer!!!
Busted out front windshields 2/28/15 took kioti 4-1/2 weeks to get one here $300 + $45 shipping plus my side entry door $329+$45 shipping that's my only complaint is getting parts in a timely manner
