Do I need a new auger tip?

Just replaced blades, does tip look like it needs replacing? Has hard time digging a hole but ground is VERY dry now also. Thanks

Yes that is pretty worn. Once you fix it add some weight if you can to the digger it will help immensely. When I had a 3pt digger I welded a couple hundred pounds on it.

Georgia clay is hard diggng when you have not had rain for 2 months. Hopefully you are getting some but I doubt that the ground will soften up anymore than a few inches

You need whatever it takes to get a new lead screw on the bottom. Not sure from the pic how that attaches, clearly different from mine.
