Cleatus- any chance of a snap of the linkage from a little farther back? I can't tell how it puts the body up? This last photo looks like there's some subframe below the truck frame rails that supports the lower end of the lift "arms" but I can't tell. Looks like it'll dump anything you can pile into it, though!

that's exactly what I'm talkin about, cool trailer, built out of spare parts. Don't suppose you can get some pics of the plumbing hook ups? And just any more pics of the project would be great. Thanks for posting everything that you've already posted. I think I may have a frame from an ol GMC truck and I may also have the front hitch from an ol mobile home (porta office), so Lord willin, I might have all the necessary parts to complete the task, with the exception of what to use for a resevoir. Can't wait to get started but I have to build a chicken plucker thingamajig first for the wife. It's almost time to start sellin some free range whole chickens.

Nat,
Thought I'd post a few pics of my tilt trailer cylinder change. This pic shows the original manual pump cylinder used to tilt the bed. It took about 5 minutes to pump enough times to make the back end of the trailer touch the ground.

Pic 2 shows the new cylinder installed. Its #992030-2604 from Northern Tool. Also got a 0-5000 # pressure gauge. Cylinder has a 3" bore, 16" stroke, 1 1/2" shaft and is rated for 3000#.

Pic 3 shows the power unit I installed inside my winch box. (Just barely fit). I got that from Graingers #4NE14. Also bought the larger 2 1/2 gal. reservoir tank to replace the 3 qt. stock one, 2 Hyd. hoses, brass tee, and several swivel fittings there also.
