Thanks!!! Fun to make to and pretty simple. Homemade about like everything else(good or bad). You might have caught the sled style/tractor/atv/everything trailer I posted about that I just finished. So I sort of have trailer on the brain. That and some 12ga 1x2 rec tubing I had in the garage. I wanted to try a little tilt/dump style so I check out the ones at HD. Hard to see the angles on the dump(angles when designing that is) but it works fine. Attached is my previous ATV trailer, wood but lasted about 11 years. The bottom went out and I had the steel for a new one. The axles and wheel are the hardest thing if you ever make one. The little HF dolly wheel won't hold up for squat. On the attached pic you can see the solid tires. Them and the bearing lasted the longest but when we hauled some firewood they basically failed. Somewhere along the line I ended up with some goat cart front wheels, no bearings, just grease the shaft. We'll see how they hold up, I just have to remember the grease. Oh and now you can see why the axle on the new trailer is red.. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
