By the way TL... since you own a JD310 and since I've got a guy who wants to help me move a couple very large rocks (I estimate ~10,000 lbs on the big one) with his JD310... gotta ask you: You think he can do it???

And if so, how would he do it? Pull, lift and slide... or roll???

He has not seen the actual rocks... just pix.

The same pix we saw

Assuming he actually unloads his equipment, He's gonna have to be creative and will probably end up rolling, twisting, pulling, cussing, spitting, etc.

Does he have a hydraulic hammer ? Might have to consider a sled (truck hood) or rollers (pipe).

J/K, between you two, I'm sure you'll manage to work it out. Just might be a little more reclamation than you estimated.

Yeah, it's the same "big rock" job I bid way back when. Finally got the go-ahead to proceed. And the rocks haven't gotten any smaller. They're just out in the open now that my tree guy has removed those tall vertical obstacles. I was actually out looking for a rock drill when this guy made his offer.

Adjust my 4110 for the 509 backhoe and for our respective FEL's (yours is heavier) and we weigh almost exactly the same!!!

You beat me on horsepower by a mere 1.5 HP. But I make it up with finesse!!!
