The Chief Medical Officer for our county EMS system was an older, well respected Emergency Physician. He died when his car spun out of control and crashed.
He was said to not be wearing his seatbelt, and had a "cheater" plugged into the seatbelt to prevent the alarm from ringing. It was said the crash would have been survivable if only he had worn his seatbelt.
A lot of Emergency Physicians, Nurses, Firemen, and Paramedics were pretty upset with him - he should have known better 10x over.
