No...what I was saying is...the boom that Disney started also started a mini baby boom (in FL) born to recently transplanted people from elsewhere...the persona and native Floridian reputability was gone forever...but that was just the beginning...
...it didn't take long for recent transplants to start taking advantage if even more recent transplants...poor reputations multiplied...

FWIW...in 1960 the population of FL was less than 5 MM...now it is close to 22MM....it was about 7MM when Disney was building and buying up land...

Such an attractive place to live. Warmth, beach/coast, low taxes and most of all FREEDOM
My states of PA loses population as people flee high regulations & taxes.

High regulation & tax states like NY and IL population declining and free states like FL rising.
People are voting with their feet.

LoL...All through central GA about every ham and egg town has a local or regional fish wrapper...many have "Police Logs" or "Police Blotters" etc...

Every week they are loaded with "Florida Man" traffic and other moving violation citation announcements...stating further that so and so was traveling to visit family they left in states further north...
