Good advise.
Ky is a coal mining state but has more deaths in farming than coal mining. Most of the farming deaths are tractor/equipment related. Be careful around machinery at all times. It only takes a second to mess up.

For the BX25 changed his own fluids guy. I think reading this first would have been helpful.

I have a BX25D I bought new in 2013. I don't use it as much as some but earlier this year the clock was rolling up on 50 hours so I did an oil & filter change and naturally greased everything.

This is what I used.

Mobil 1 5W-40 Turbo Diesel Synthetic Motor Oil
Kubota Oil Filter
Kubota Fuel Filter (2)





In the fall I'll change the hydraulic fluid in both the main reservoir and the front drive axle. I'm switching over to Amsoil full synthetic and I think should give a bump in hydraulic performance especially during the winter months.

Synthetic Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil SAE 5W-30

It happens, there will be a rash of it, and it will quit for a while.. You can delete the extra post, but going back in on one of them to edit, and pressing delete, then delete message, and then the delete button at the bottom. It is 3 button presses, but it makes the extra post go away completely.

Yep, I did just that and it works like a charm...:thumbsup:

Appreciate a report back after you change from the Kubota SUDT/SUDT2 hyd fluid as to noticeable change in performance. Also what is the cost of a qt of the engine oil that you are changing to?
