Dogs in Lowes Store

Was in a Sam's club today. Of course we were going around and getting the free samples. There was a ticked off lady giving sample of some chicken alfredo (very good by the way). Said some customers came by with a dog in the cart and the dog stuck it's nose on the sample tray. She said the customers seemed to think there was nothing wrong with that but she had to dump everything, clean up her sample cart, then cook some more samples. Said the people actually acted offended by her dumping the food in the trash in front of them. Later we saw the cart with the little mutt in it and the people were giving it some of the samples. They pushed the buggy up against another sample cart and that lady pushed them back. That really pi$$ed off the dog people and they exchanged words with the old lady.

Unless it is a service dog keep your filthy mutt out of stores, ESPECIALLY food stores.

RSKY
I like dogs as good as as anyone, I have a pen full of hunting dogs but they stay outside and don't eat off of my plate, I'm with you the woman serving the food had a right not to appreciate what the people let their dog do.

Dogs come in very handy when you have dinner guests that you really don't want to see again. After supper, you just take the plates and put them on the floor and let the dog lick them all off, then put them back in the cupboard. Your guests will never return!😜

Now that is FUNNY!

As to dogs in stores, the various stores have decided if they allow dogs, so I would hope that the princesses on this thread leave it to the stores and stop pontificating. It doesn't matter what the princesses think, the stores decide. It is their store and I will follow store policy.

Respect, consideration and appreciation are what has always drove my world and the way I act. Previous post said something wrong with people that don't like dogs!! Guess there is something wrong with me but also something wrong with who said that. My take on the dog subject is its a animal. Nothing more nothing less. My 1000 lb steers are animals, my 50 laying hens are animals and the 2 feeder pigs I have are the same. Dogs in stores well I think I should have the right to drag my animals down the isles of the local tsc and lowes and iga food store like I see all the time. If fefee is like family to you, my livestock is like family to me. Just because you have a dog don't mean it is your God given right that I have to like it, want to pet it, take it home with me and tolerate the barking, craping where ever (even on my front porch from neighbors dogs) and if I don't somehow I'm the bad guy. If your a dog owner be responsible, respect others around you and have consideration for others also. My property and my space where ever is mine, not yours nor your dogs for you or your dogs to enjoy and do what ever and I have to tolerate it. I've had a total of 4 dogs myself over the years and paid for some and some were free. All cost me thousands of dollars in troubles and things I had to fix that they tore up. All were passive breeds and never bit anyone but the other stuff they messed up caused more troubles than good, most were things owned by me but some by neighbors and that was my responsibility. All for you to have dogs and enjoy them and more power to you but remember their not your neighbors, not anyone else's pet, not their responsibility and just maybe not because you like them and want them that everyone else has to think like you or something is wrong with them.

There is a retired guy that hangs out at Home Depot with his little lap dog. Seems like every time I go there, he's surrounded by the women who work there petting his dog. Got to hand it to him for using his dog as a chick magnet.

Cheaper than a corvette and twice as effective

Knowing how it could change the lives of canines everywhere, the dog scientists struggled diligently to understand the Doorknob Principle

My dog figured out the door knob when she was a puppy. She just could not grasp the door knob otherwise she would have been opening the door. As it was, when she wanted out or in, she would "ring the bell" by bumping her nose on the door knob. The door knob would "ring" when she did that and we knew the dog wanted in or out depending on which side of the door she was on.:laughing::laughing::laughing:

We had a chain link fence with a lever to hold the gate. I had to put a lock on the gate, one to keep the neighbor kids from getting into our yard to play with the dog, and two, because the dog COULD and DID open the gate since she could flick up the lever...

Dog was a freaking genius. Sure miss her. :(:(:(

Later,
Dan
