I have only met one person in my life that was truly "very afraid" of dogs. She had been bitten as a small child and was afraid of them since then.
I have however met many "prissy" folks that just flat out don't like dogs, and look down their noses at dogs and people that own them. That's fine. But as long as their honest about it and admit their own inner "prissy-ness" and not try to claim it's something else.
Either way, I care not. It's up to the owner of the place of business if they want to allow dogs or other animals in their store. If they say "yes", then that's it. Don't like it? Then don't shop there. You don't get a "vote" at all. If the store owner says "no", then it's NO. Case closed. No need to make a drama case out of it either way.
Sheesh people, move along here.
