What if you came out of Walmart and someone was in your truck or you look outside one night and there is a person taking pictures inside of your vehicle on the street.
The majority of us would be pissed and most times the law would be called.
No difference.

Maybe but can I let my dogs out to pee on my property? Then my job is simple -- protect the dogs, not that they need protection unless there is a firearm then any force is justified IMHO.

The "Law" is an hour away, so that is NOT an option until after the fact.

Things aren't always as they appear. I once found a man inside my barn and his car backed up to the door with several of my processions in the trunk. I was pretty upset until he explained how he found the stuff and was returning it.

Things other than that, well, it might not go as good for you as you think. Especially when you have left it out and unattended. After all, what real damage is done by taking a peek and a picture or two?

I wish you had been there to explain that to my neighbor when he caught me on a ladder by the fence when he left his sun bathing wife unattended.
