Dozer vs. Bulldozer - What do you call it?

Dozer in field, bulldozer in sandbox.

either works, my grandson calles it a dozer, all I know for sure they are a lot of fun to play with

There are reporters and other ignorant people that call any yellow piece of equipment on a construction site a "Bull Dozer". Yet others must be in a time warp for they talk of Steam Rollers!

Then, there is the term "Back Hoe". I only ever considered a tractor mounted unit to be such, but apparently it refers to the direction of shovel movement as opposed to a old style shovel like found in an open pit mine.

I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to aviation. All I know is prop or jet engine, isle or window seat. Am I missing anything?
