I had thought of that also, Bruce. But the metal was gonna be 10 bucks for me before the labor.

That looks suspiciously like a leaf spring lifting shackle though. Maybe with a little drilling?

I built a adapter out of some 1/2 X 2 flat bar I had laying around. I don't use the top hook at all, not even sure where the hook is anymore. I'll get a pic in a bit.

I ended up purchasing the Titan attachments triangle one with a hitch. Primarily because there was an open box on ebay for $70 shipped. My plan is to purchase either the Tri-ball with a hook or just get a hook or d-ring receiver at harbor freight.

My tractor is only rated at 1438lbs on the pto so I really dont need anything super heavy duty. Other than the trailer I will probably only be dragging small trees. I also purchase the titan quick attach forks for the front loader. Ideally I would have like to have a 3 point hitch that would have allowed me to use the forks in the rear but I was unable to find a model like this other than a homemade version as shown below which is super cool and has a boom. I plan to make something similar in the future but I wanted to have something on hand when spring comes and we need to get the boat out.

I have the Titan receiver hitch with the pull ring, and I like it.
It is beautifully made, and powder coated.

You can buy a set of Titan 2000# 3pt. forks from Agri Supply for $180 + shipping.
They too, are quality built, and power coated.

Ok great thanks for the help. If you have some extra time could you post a picture of it connected to the quick hitch? I had planned on holding off on the quick hitch until the price drops to the sale price of $69.99. I do not really need it yet since my only two pto attachments are the triangle hitch and countyline carry all.

Had a little time today so worked on this.

For me the hook also is too far back. I hope to use the adaptor from HF work.


I added the class 1-2 and 2-3 bushings on the pins. And also top link bushings on the top link pink to fill the hook. I only have one bolt in it for the mocking up but I think even one good bolt or pin would be sufficient on my L3301. It would probably rear up or come to a dead stop or spin before breaking a 1/2"grade 8 bolt I would think. But the right way would be to scab on the back of the hook pushing it out. Maybe eventually.

My lower pins were a little too close together in their distance apart which caused the lunch pin to get hung up in the lower hooks. I added a couple of flat washers to push the pins out slightly.

Oh yeah I forgot. I wanted the carryall at first like you but I think a set of pallet forks like those from Agrisupply would be more useful. They can carry a pallet, flat plywood or a work box for you as a carryall in addition to doing pallet stuff. I use my dirt scoop because I want adjustable forks on the front to stump grub with someday.

I got one at Family Farm & Home for about $150. Probably a King Kutter brand.
Quick hitch compatible and it'll do goose neck trailers as well (not that I have one, but maybe one day.......).
