I put the key on a little floaty thing because I lose them too easily! In fact, when I was cleaning the tractor up before the repaint, I took it to a car wash and managed to drop the only key I had down the drain, good thing a diesel doesn't need ignition, just a screwdriver across the starter and off she goes. Pain in the butt tho..........

and yes, now that the body is all nice and shiny the loader looks like crap! (Sighs........)

And thanks for the kudos, it's been a lot of hard work, but fun, and now I feel a lot more confidence about the tractor and that it's maintained right.

My next project is a ROPS. I took the one off my ZTR mower and with a few mods it should bolt right on. It's made from really thick walled 2" square tubing, so heavy I could barely lift it off the mower. All I need to do is modify and add a couple of brackets and it should work. Pics if I'm successful!

Oh, sorry to hijack the thread, I'll start another one for my ROPS project...........

I didn't get the time I though I was going to have this weekend to work on her, I did get it started and driven over to the redneck paint booth.

All of the 3pt. lift and the angel iron that holds the fenders on is off and 90% cleaned and ready for primer. The back end is starting to get bare.

I'm trying to keep it rolling as long as I can before jackin' it up and pullin' the wheels.

Up date time again

Took Thursday & Friday off and had a 4 day weekend, so I got alot done.

Almost done strippin' her down...looks kind of funny now!
