When recently we had a deck addition to our house, I learned something about keeping your britches up and shirt tucked in. It's a lot easier to do when your standing back giving directions.;) That's my favorite method.:D

lol jinman.

Another vote for carharrts here. Especially the ones you can put permanent knee pads in. I"m only 2/3 of 60, and the knees and things are starting to complain - I figure I better start babying them a bit to make up for some of what I've done.

Some folks around here, when they get REAL serious, will wear both suspenders and a belt!:D:D

I vote that all plumbers be required to wear both suspenders and belts!!:D:D

This time of year my favorite outerwear is INSULATED bib overalls!

White shirt and bow tie for Sundays. Some times had a hard time reconizing friend at funerals the family had dressed the late person in a suit.
This winter is starting to get cold.

Funny :D I'm just on the over the hill side of 50 and when I was in my mid 40's and things started shifting around with my anatomy, I found that my tool belt / nail apron I would wear on the job started pulling down on my clothing reveling parts of me that would rather be left undiscovered, One day while getting some thing from building supply I found a set of suspenders that were designed to clip on the tool belt to assist in holding it up, after trying it out for a couple of days I found when I would reach for thing over my head as you mentioned the tool belt would come up above my gut, so then I found myself pulling down on the belt all the time rather then pulling up as before, so I decided to discard the suspenders and let mother nature take it place,
its a Carpenter thing... Just don't Look :D

For Xmas, I got 3 extra long T-shirts from Duluth trading. They come in a tub marked "Crack spackle" . I wear them when I might be bending over a lot and don't want to frighten children or small animals:) ....

What used to be my chest has been pulled down by gravity and has become part of my tummy

I'm 56 and have the same issue. We are going on a cruise this summer and my wife told me I need to lose some weight. She said that she is the only one that should be wearing a two piece bathing suit! OUCH!!!!!

I got a chuckle out of this one. Up here in the Northwest suspenders are part of the uniform of the day. Not the clampons, but the 2inch wide button on types. We generally wear pants a size too big for ventalation and makes them a bit more comfortable and the suspenders keep them riding high so you can swing a leg up and over.
The work jeans are made for them.
Just this year I have changed over to bibs and found them to be great for working around the shop as they have a place for a notebook, ph, soapstone and such. As I am over the 60 mark too, these also work well with that gravity problem.
