Theres a couple good names right there but you might come up with a few of your own when you start building the scissor lift part and then tare it apart cause it dont work right, 3 times, oh wait thats me..........................

The scissor hoist is a dump bed kit from northern hydraulics. It was on an old pickup I had. It has 12v powered pump and is hydraulic.

I’m really starting to like this trailer as a skeleton. Delivered another load of logs to the Amish sawmill today. I’m thinking I’m going to leave hinges as pins that I can pull and make a log bunk for it that I can interchange.

Two trailers in one, sounds good to me, although you can haul logs on a dump trailer to but you cant haul dirt on a log trailer.....

Well since losing my job this week I’ve had a little time to work on the trailer. The dump hoist is installed and works like a champ.

Hopefully later this week the Amish sawmill will have my boards cut for the flooring and the sides. Trying to find a 5x8 sheet of plastic or Teflon to put down on the floor to make it slick

I’m still coming up with an idea for the tailgate. Thinking I’m going to pin all 4 corners and make it like a tailgate on a pick up.

I thought the tailgate in this video worked slick, I watched it 2 dozen times and for the life of me I cant figure out how it works, some how the linkage releases the dump as it goes up. If I make or buy a dump trailer that would high on my feature list, I hate getting off and on or in and out just to unhook tailgate, I like to drive down the woods road and as I go start dumping the load.
