Hmmmm, you need to quit going to those avon parties.
/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gifSorry but, I just had to say it.
What made you feel this way. Did you have bad luck?

This ones for sale on ebay now Dynahoe
Price is a little high compared to some others I have seen sold here. This model has the detroit deisel and from what I have seen they sell for much more than the model I have with the john deere engine. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif For what reason I don't know?

it was given to me and at the time i didn't understand why the guy was happy to get rid of it. that is until the day i watched it leave.

it had a detroit that ran great. the one i had was too big for it's own good, the bucket on the backhoe was 36" it had a hard time doing anything. at 37000lbs once it's on anything other than a hard packed stone road it will sink to it's axle's. it's rear steering and over all size made it hard to maneuver. oh and i spent almost as much time working on it, there was always something that ended up needing to be fixed.

Well I feel much better with my choice now. Like I said I tried one of them out (200-4) and no doubt it was liven large. It was parked in the front lawn of a house that it just ran over. So it seemed impressive especially after owning an early model 580 case. However I didn't like the detriot diesel although I haven't heard anything bad about them except that you can hear them loud and clear. At 38000 lbs I would have to think that mud would be a problem. I compromised with the 490k at 24000 lbs (7 ton lighter) very simular to the 190-4 models. so far I'm very satisfied. Its painted and some decals on it. I will put up pics as soon as possible.

Scott I worked for an outfit from Poplar Bluff Missouri that built water treatment plants. I was in Paragould a afew times every couple months. Huffman was the outfit's name. I wished I vcould have gone around seemed like an interesting place. Alot of the time we would work 2 das and come home when they needed a few spare hands or moving material.
I hope to have a few of these Dynahoe located nearby in a few months or so. Ild like one to help with my sidebusiness demolition. I have a friend that told me Icould have his gravle vein if I dig it and haul it off. Hes wants his hill he built his house ont downsized a bit.

Just a little railroad town in between the delta and the hills...

I've heard of Huffman... Don't remember where now...

That dynahoe should be able to handle loading gravel pretty easy.

Ok Scott I need to pick your brain again
I need to get stop and turn lamps. The only info on the existing lamps is "speaker 270" do you know what that means. Paint-done' Decals-done, lights-not done. All I need is some lights and its picture time. I will share pics as soon as possible. Thanks to everyone for the info.

Speaker brand doesn't sound familar. I'd probably try Grote for somthing similar. A decent Oreily's,carquest, or napa should have a grote catalog behind the counter.
