EA7500HD POST HOLE DIGGER?

Does anyone own or have experience with these? I am considering this one and would like feed back or experience. I am open to other suggestions too,

A hydraulic one with an auger is double the price, plus any hydraulic valving & plumbing to use it.

For a 3pt PHD, really they are all identically engineered. The only difference is weight & quality of components. ETA has a good reputation for quality.

I have the 6900 HD model and am very happy with it. My land is full of roots and rocks and other than breaking a shear bolt once, it has been unstoppable. If I was purchasing for my larger tractor I would've gone with the 8500, but on my compact the 6900 is just about perfect.

I have the 7500 EA PHD. It’s a beast. I got a 9” and 18” augers. It’s really overkill for those two augers, but I wanted the option of getting the 30” auger in the future.
No problems at all. Get help assembling it. Unless you are Andre the giant, you aren’t going to pick that gearbox up and pin it on by yourself.
The heavy duty gearbox is geared very low, so the chances of it burying itself quickly is reduced. The extra weight makes it dig very well. The boom is long enough that it digs pretty straight without having to constantly move the tractor forward and back to get a straight hole.

I have an EA PHD (it's heavy duty, but I don't recall the model number), and it works great. My only complaint is the PTO connector has a pin to push instead of a collar to slide back or twist, making it a little more difficult to connect to the PTO (at least for me), but it's not that big of a deal. Not sure if they still use the same type. I borrowed a Bush Hog and a Howse in the past, and the EA is certainly as good as those.
