Bob - It's a Passat. I got rid of the Rabbit years ago.

You had to go with the Passat for the V6. Needed it to haul the EF.

I mentioned earlier that Jim @ D&E Manufacturing in Moncks Corner, SC is doing a lot of custom work for me for the EF-5 (yeah, I realize I don't have it yet). /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif Well, this morning, I faxed him a diagram for a 6-inch diameter metal plate with a flat spot on one edge long enough to attach to the ROPS bar on the EF-5. I had to explain what it was for, of course, so I send him an e-mail that pointed him to a link here that showed a picture of the cup. Well, as you can imagine, it only helped secure my reputation as a card-carrying lunatic with the guys at D&E. So, when I got home this afternoon, there was a poem commemorating the cup, and the custom-made cup holder they're making for me, on my fax machine. Harv - Hey, you're the one with two high-powered magnets glued to the bottom of your cup, remember? So you're a lot more likely to have the problem prophesied by the poem than I am. You may get your wish. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif I'll tell Jim you liked it. Actually, one of the pictures I sent him a link to was of you riding on your tractor with the cup stuck on the fender.

I told Jim it's been a long time since I've seen a combination metalworking engineer/poet. In fact, he may be unique... He said the whole gang at D&E got a big kick out of the cup obsession. I can just imagine... /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

I would have thought the residuals from the Chalkley Cup would still be rolling in and be more than enough to cover your new machine.
BTW I robbed two old hard drives of their magnets yesterday and will start on my cup this weekend

thumperjb - Well, I've been saving the royalty payments the whole time and they added up to enough to pay for the EF-5, but I didn't have anything left over for attachments or enhancements. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
