Eddie, I think you are a great Dad with all the time you spend with the kids. Hunting season is just around the corner (at least out here) so no wonder that hasn't happened yet.
Believe me, I know all about your list.
I have one too, except everyday there's something or several things that go onto the list that need to be done first. So it seems like my list is getting longer instead of shorter.:)
But knowing you, I'm sure you're all over it. Your jeep project is ambitious so that will take time no matter what. I wouldn't worry about it so much. You're doing a wonderful job and we all know it.

Sounds like you are making alot of head way to me.......and you still find time to post very lengthy and informative posts on TBN..... You must be able to use all your fingers to type with....unlike myself!:p :D :p :D

Eddie,
ir ead a study not to long ago out of Austrailia. The study was comapring, I think it was, prunning tools. What I found most interesting about the study is that most of the work got accomplished at the end of the day. We kind of find the same thing with the olive harvest. More olives are picked at the end of the day then the beginning. So as the year gets to the close I bet you will have more projects accomplished than what you are thinking now.

On a personal note you should see an improvement in my typos. You know I ahve that old hand injury and a couple fingers on my right hand have limited dexterity which means my left hand types faster than my right and thus I get the letter reversals. However HP sent me a new laptop and the keys on this one are better than on my old backup laptop so I am finding I am able to type with fewer letter reversals and typos.

It would be easy to do all the projects I bet if money was not an issue. I ahve tons of projects on the olive farm that are jsut waiting to be funded. :)

Project list:

Walk outside, close eyes, turn around until dizzy, just before falling, point. That is the one on the list today!!!

Noticed you had time to change your avatar!! Was it tasty?

1)Walk outside

3)Turn around until dizzy
4)Just before falling, point

The first three steps are pretty much part of my daily routine.

"Over halfway through the year, and I've accomplished nothing." - Eddie Walker

Welcome to my world. I seem to have been working my butt off all year and I don't seem to be any further along.

One thing I have learned in life though ... never make long-term lists. They only end up depressing you. I make a list of the things I want to do the next day and at the end of the day I throw it away and start another one, whether everything has been achieved or not.

Enjoy life Eddie, it's way too short to work yourself into an early grave. Regards to Steph and the kids.

Thank you everyone for the kind words and encouragement. I really didn't mean too much be creating the list of goals other then to help motivate me to focus on what I thought was important to get done this year. I still want to get them all done, but won't stress too badly if they wait until next year or the year after that. Sooner or later, they will get done.

I did have a pretty big setback on the dump truck, which is critical for removing dirt from where my food plot will go. I did't pay close enough attention to the air filter and as I know now, super find dust is very bad on an engine. Mine is ruined and will need a total rebuild. I have a thread on the last rebuild and my current probles on it here http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...5832-new-engine-my-f-600-a-7.html#post1452353

Instead of moving dirt, or building anything, I'll be wrenching on the dumptruck again. I sure hope this isn't something that I do every other year!!!

I was thinking about this the other day.... and then I saw this article and I knew it! Eddie's got it all backwards! You don't do all the projects and then open the RV park, you open the RV park and have people pay _you_ to do your projects for you!
