I don稚 have an IR gun.
Other methods were suggested to find it.
A low tech method I used before IR guns were affordable was to rub a crayon (I used a yellow tire crayon) on each port area and watch which one melts last, or just use your hand checking each one as it warms up from a cold start.
Is it an inline 6-71?
If so, another thing to check is injector rack screws.
Also, on older engines, injector springs will break and disable the injector.
I used to maintain a fleet of 10-15 trucks with 6-71s, so I have seen just about every problem they developed.
I remember when you could buy genuine DD cylinder kits for $51.00 in the early 1970s.
