Electric winch on my log arch

I'm leaving my hand winch on my arch, but I'm adding a guard to it so I don't get smacked if the cable ever breaks
The electric will be on the bottom of the arch but I'll have that ability to do both. Its always best to get the arch to the log but not always possible.with the hand winch being up higher, when I get a stubborn pull it lifts up the back of the atv I usually try to stand on the hitch. Good chance I'll double my cable back to the arch and use my snatch block on it to double the pull power

I have a large pulley (keeps the cable from being bent sharp) that holds the weight of the log before being pulled straight into the winch drum. Behind that (relative to the tongue), I have 3 attachment points centered under the arch legs. One of them is used for holding the chained log, the two others can be used for holding the excess chain, additional chained logs, or can be used to double back the winch cable via a snatch block.

Why is your winch mounted so low? The cable will get pinched down there by logs pushing forward. You also have sharp bend going up to your top pulley.

I never pull them in that far just far enough so they sit on the chain then i unhook winch and hook the choker up to the arch i dont have the new chain slots cut out yet
And the winch is low for the stubborn pulls i can pull straight back and not lift atv off the ground
