It's hard for a thoughtful or intelligent person to not find all of the various opposing presentations of these topics at least a little confusing, or to have anything but mixed feelings about all of it. Anyone who claims to really know the whole truth in all of this is being at least a little selective in what they hear, and in my opinion, oversimplying some very complicated and not fully-understood cause/effect relationships.

I am 100% sure that Biden's plan was "deeply flawed", as stated in this presenttion. But I'm also not enough of a simpleton to believe the new plan is completely altruistic, and without subversion by special interests. I'm beginning to think the best we can hope for, is that the continuous reversals executed by each party will ultimately have us hovering somewhere in the middle of two extremes, when viewed on a long-term basis.
