No, if he placed the order already, I can't personally cancel it or reorder it at this point right now.

Cannot he cancel it? Especially since the delivery wasn't as expected? I should probably keep my mouth shut here but my back went out last night for no reason at all so my TBN time has gone up substantially since I can't be otherwise productive. :D

Look at my signature and multiple other posts. You didn't get the discount then. Sorry. Next time.

Very sorry I didn't mean to do the wrong thing- had no idea. I did see it and used the link that is there that goes to the EverLast site which was preferable to a phone for me since I don't hear to good. Maybe you should say call for an additional discount so people will know. Sorry.

It would be a mess to change now anyway with PayPal involved and the tracking label already generated so that PayPal will release the payment.

Chances are you will like your new welder and want something else to go with it. I've got an Everlast plasma that has done more than I could imagine. I just couldn't justify the price of one of the larger brands so never bothered getting one. I've had it for at least 5 years now (thinking more like 7) so it's not new by any means. More than a decade ago I replaced my stick welder with a large Lincoln mig. While it does everything I have wanted it does have the limitation of being very heavy so I'm toying with getting either an Everlast inverter stick or a combination machine that can do stick and AC tig (for aluminum). Once you do get your welder post a quick review on what you think.

GG: No worries. I didn't realize they were sponsors of the site until after my order arrived.

Not trying to be a jerk here, but this is in Mark's sig, "Need a welder? Give me a call at (877) 755-9353 ext 204!"

I was thinking if you had them un charge your CC and cancel the order, that you could try the phone number out.

I can only blame myself. I don't frequent the forum as much during the winter months. I'm just now coming out of hibernation...

Until a couple months ago, I had a shop I could go to with a case of beer and have any welding done I needed, or if they were busy I could use their welders and such myself. The owner retired a couple years ago and sold out to some trust-fund drug addict from NJ, who in turn ran the place into the ground and refused to pay his workers. The workers all left and took all the tools as compensation for the pay they were owed, welders included...

I had a few welding jobs I was waiting on some of the first few warm days to get into, but now with no cheap solution for such tasks, I started shopping around. I never thought to check the tractor forums about welding equipment. My welder had already arrived and the plasma was already shipped by the time I came to the realization that they were a site sponsor here.

Considering I was given a discount on the welder due to the fact the one I had chosen wasn't in stock, and used the price match on the website to get a discount on the plasma cutter, I don't think I could have gotten the prices any lower; but I still wish I would have known so that Mark could have gotten the sales.

Well just got a phone call from EverLast. My PowerArc 200ST is back ordered until May 1st - Yikes, didn't expect that. Disappointing. And they already charged my credit card. I will get the bill next week. Hmmmm........... Got to give them credit though. At least they called me.

gg

Don't feel bad, I did the same thing, ordered a week ago, called today to find out the status since the UPS tracking has remained "label printed". Everlast said the soonest it (Powerarc 200st) would ship is May 1st. So I guess we will both be welding with the old machines for a while....
