I made, more or less the same mistake.
I could not get ahold of Mark because it was a very busy time for him, so I ordered through Amazon. Then Mark clued me in about it. Back orders get filled from Everlast before they get filled through Amazon. Orders through Mark get better pricing than shown on the Everlast site and include shipping. And the welders can come with more or better equipment than what comes with the Amazon orders.
I emailed Amazon and cancelled. No problem as the welder was on back order.
I ended up getting my MTS 211 Si at least a week before I expected it, and at a lower price, through Mark. I also have an Everlast Powerarc 300 that has been excellent.
