Veterans Discount?

I attempted to contact Everlast through their website twice in the past month to inquire whether they offered a Military or Veterans discount. Was disappointed that I did not even receive a response to my inquiry, a no would have been better than ignoring the inquiry. I have been a loyal Miller customer for decades and was considering an EXT-255.

What email did you use? As for Veteran's discount, we try to do what we can. But a TBN discount is as good as any. Let me know what you want.

I used the competitive price match form on the Everlast website both times.

It makes me wonder how support would be when sales does not even respond.

The price match is for matching prices you find elsewhere, not discounts. I imagine it would be ignored if it wasn't a true price match. If the forms aren't filled out or relevant to the purpose of that feature, it would be ignored. It would be viewed as a someone not serious or just playing around. We get a lot of kooky emails. I can't count the number of requests for free welders or sad hard luck stories, almost insisting we owe them something for their lot in life. I'm not sure of the content, but I am not sure that would be on the same level as a phone call or email as far as priority of response.

Looking through the Price matches, I found one price match request from you. I looked you up via the IP address I found you under on your most recent. You could have made another on another computer or device. It was would be considered a "low ball" since it is requesting an additional 10% off an already low advertised price. If it was close, and it didn't match what we could do, it would have been met with a counter offer. The unit is on sale now. And there will likely be an end to that soon. We are holding the prices for now, but if HD wants to sell at an additional low price and sell below their cost, that is up to them. But since we are the mfgr., we know what we have to sell for direct. Additionally, the accessory packages are not the same. Usually HD units get lesser quality torches and foot pedals etc. That may not reflect in the comparison initially, but that is the reason we don't cut prices in some cases. Particularly on the EXT models where we give you a lot in the box.
