FWIW, for all concerned. The kooks I am talking about are people who find some cheap plasma on the net, or some alibaba site and think we ought to be able to match some straight from China junk they find on the net. The product isn't even ours and no where close. This is function is intended for "our" product, if our prices get far out of line, not for matching someone else selling out of their garage some "Big Tec" or "Lotus Blossum" unit or a factory drop shipping some clone unit from China.

Thanks for your reply, not sure if the request you found is mine or not, I normally use a VPN connection when browsing so the IP you see is often shared by thousands of people. The one from me will have a my user name here as part of the reply to E-mail, the price match request simply stated that HD listed the EXT-255 for $2250.00 but would give Military discounts to Veterans and Active duty making the price lower than the 2200.00 currently advertised on the site and asked if Everlast offered a similar discount to Veterans or active duty military. The sale in May was 20% off list so even if the discount was offered the price would not be below that. I do however appreciate being lumped in with the Kooks and Low-ballers you refer to in your response. As I said in my original response a simple no response to my original inquiry would have sufficed.

Not trying to lump you into kooks. Just offering a possibility initially why it may have been over looked. As far as low ballers, that's a general term for people who are trying to get a much lower price than advertised. No attempt to offend, but just trying to put things out there in a manner so that there won't be any misunderstanding as to the purpose of the "price match". It's often misused.

Yeah. We couldn't and didn't price match that glitch Amazon had. They were selling below cost big time.

Mark, what model welder would you recommend that was Multiprocess, mid,tig and stick, or at least a good MIG with stick capabilities? Something under $1000.
What's the warranty on your welders?

The unit we have that would fit that bill is slighlty over 1k. That's the PowerMTS 211Si. That's an excellent unit with HF and lift start DC TIG and great performance all the way around. More advanced than any other MTS unit out there with the HF starting. It includes out the front connections and includes torches and foot pedal.

The next closest unit would be the Power i-MIG 200. This is MIG and Stick and lists in the high 800 range. If you want a quote on anything, just PM me for specifics.

Looks like SEMA is not open to the public... can you get visitor passes if warranted? I have a professional interest. Love to attend the show but it won't be this time... in Asia on biz. Would also enjoy meeting you, Mark. Keep us posted on your attendance at various shows if you will.
