Murph, can you tell me how you wired your lights up? Do you have a separate switch on the dash? I have realized that some additional lighting would be advantagous as well. Thanks.

Ray

You can call me lazy if you wish, most do. But I did mount a switch on the right fender control panel. I have not hooked any wires up to it. Since mine are on magnets I have come to like the idea of being able to move them around and take off in the summer when I don't need them. I only need the lights in the winter when I am snow plowing. But I do have a live molex connector on the back of the right side of the seat and I just bought the male portion of the molex adapter and plug in when needed. The other thing you have to watch out for is you can't have your extra lights on when your glow plugs are on if they are wired through the switch. You will popped the main fuse if you do.

That is because you have the DA and I only have the D.:)

I'm terrible with electricity. Does anyone know if a 45 A has an easy to use extra plug somewhere?

The Magnetic holders sound perfect for moving the lights around -- i.e. putting them on the ROP or FEL arms -- thanks.

If the old Class IIs had one, I imagine the 45A does. Check around the right side of the seat and in/on the inside of the fender.

You're going to need some long wire to put them on the FEL arms, which might be a safety hazard. The best place to mount lights to see over the FEL is on the ROPS.

Do you have any pictures of these connectors?

My 40DA has an extra electrical connector in the left rear corner behind the seat. It also has a cigarette style connector in the right rear corner. Hopefully your 45 has the same.

Also check out what PineRidge did for lights, tc-40d lights & horn

Sorry, I don't. The one on my TC25D was a flat, black, 2 wire connector.

You can purchase a compatible connector through CarQuest. The Part# CPR 70059 and is described a 2-Wire Flat (12"). Jay

I did find the connectors today on each side behind the seat that look like they branch of the blinker wires.

I can't find the CPR part at Carquest though.
